Ich habe den Blog "Humans of New York" schon lange verfolgt und das Buch schließlich als Geschenk für einen großen NY-Fan gekauft. Ich hätte womöglich mal genauer nachlesen müssen, aber zunächst war ich verwundert, dass die Geschichten zu den Menschen nicht mit im Buch stehen. Dafür gibt es aber ein zweites Buch, welches "Humans of New York: Stories " heißt. Dennoch ein wirklich schönes Buch mit interessanten und schönen Fotos, das man sich einfach immer wieder anschauen kann. Ein Klassiker unter den NY-Fotobüchern!
Da ich mit viel Freude den Blog verfolge war ich sehr gespannt auf das Buch. Edles Cover und gutes Fotopapier zeichnen hohe Qualität aus, dennoch fehlt mir der Zugang zu den Bildern, wie man es vom Blog gewohnt ist. Es sind zwar Anmerkungen zu den Bildern, jedoch nur sehr knapp. Schade! An den Fotos freue ich mich trotzdem sehr und bin zufrieden mit meinem Kauf. Danke Brandon!
Jeden Tag wurden hier New Yorker fotografiert und in der Tat, im Laufe der Zeit sammelt sich hier wirklich Material an, welches hier in diesem tollen Buch zusammengefasst wurde. Wirklich ein Musthave für jeden Bildbandsammler...
Habe dieses Buch für jemanden als Geschenk bestellt. Dementsprechend kann ich nur über die Reaktion berichten und diese war sehr positiv.Ich persönlich mag Fotographie als Kunst und bin von den Bildern am Umschlag fasziniert gewesen.

Ich verfolge schon lange die Facebook-Seite von HONY und hab mich total gefreut, dass es das jetzt auch in Buchform gibt. Ein ganz spezieller Bildband von den Menschen meiner Traumstadt. Hoffe es gibt irgendwann eine "Fortsetzung"...
